Thanks for the awesome detailed review J R! Sounds like the install on your CX-50 went really smoothly, and we appreciate you sharing the tips about using a PVC cutter for the trim section and handling the install solo. Finishing it in about 25 minutes is impressive too. The final install looks great, and thanks for sharing the picture! I appreciate your comment on the shipping, yes it does happen from time to time. etrailer is lucky to now have you as a loyal neighbor (customer) Joe! I like to touch up my hitch with some Rust-Oleum spray paint, I usually go over the spots once a year, to avoid rusting. Not sure how bad the damage is, but that will help. What do you mainly use the hitch for?

Christopher, that’s a great looking install on your CX-50 Hybrid. It’s always nice when everything lines up and fits the way it should, especially doing it solo. Sounds like it handled your bike rack setup perfectly so far, and getting it installed without needing an extra set of hands is a win. I hear you on the welds too, but glad overall it checked the boxes for you. What kind of bikes are you hauling with it?
